Your Consultation

Congratulations! You are about to enhance your natural beauty and boost your self confidence with Ashley Taylor Permanent Make Up!

Permanent make up, also known as semi-permanent make up is an exciting cosmetic treatment that women of all ages are benefitting from.  Whilst cosmetic tattooing is becoming increasingly more popular it can also be an anxious choice to make too.  To put your mind at rest we have provided you with some useful information about your permanent make up treatment.

Why have permanent make up?

The benefits:-

·         Look & feel great without spending hours in front of the mirror

·        Natural look - refreshed and healthier looking

·        Results can last years

·        Scarring can be camouflaged improving self esteem and confidence

Is it like a tattoo?

The procedure is a form of cosmetic tattooing. The differences between permanent make up and tattoos are the techniques, pigments, and how long it lasts and permanent make up lasts about 2 to 3 years with regular touch ups.

When do I get a touch up?

Clients must wait 3 to 6 weeks before a retouch procedure can be performed.

Will it hurt?

Application of cosmetic tattooing can be sensitive. We guide you through possible ways of reducing your sensitivity.  We do a sensitivity patch test for the products we use (at least 24 hours before the treatment).  There will be slight swelling and possible redness following the procedure, which settles down in a few days. Individual guidance is suggested.  The sensation is like using eye tweezers.

How will I know what it will look like?

During your consultation we discuss your needs, desires, colours and shapes. We draw shapes on your face and try to have fun whilst doing it. After all it’s a very exciting time for all of us! We take before and after pictures to demonstrate results of your treatment.

 Will the colour fade?

Immediately after the procedure, the pigment can be 30 to 50 % darker than the desired result. It settles down after healing process is over (5-7 days).  The pigments will fade with time.
